Design reviews are typicallydiscipline specific during FEED and Detailed Engineering stages to ensure engineering development is progressing in line with project specifications and applicable codes & standards. Design reviews at appropriate timing in a major project avoids rework and sets basis for progressing engineering maturity in an integrated manner.
Design reviews can be conducted using a predefined checklist per discipline otherwise a presentation by each discipline Lead on the key aspects of design and basis for critical design criteria used in the project and addressing comments / concerns raised by customer’s engineering team. Aniva facilitators have good experience in conducting multi-discipline design reviews for various phases of projects in a formal workshop environment.
